A Sweet Love Story
My heart full of thoughts,
Sleepless nights in my cot,
My mind full of knots,
My hand shivers to jot.
This is my story,
For past few days and nights.
Confused so much,
That I use bulb in a daylight.
With my eyes open, I sleep every night.
And when I close my eyes, her face comes bright.
Also my wrong steps are turning to be right.
I think its nothing but 'the love at first sight'.
Breaking all rules, and enjoying the rain shower.
Playing like a kid, and body covered with mud over.
Shivering in memory of her, suffering from love fever.
This madness you can expect from me and every lover.
My tone full of sugar.
My financier, my elder brother.
My looks like no other.
Whats inside my mind, known only to my mother.
With my shoes polished, like a mirror,
And my shirt, with a leather cover.
My steps now moving over,
Its love, that's boosting me power.
I really want to find,
I want to see, whats on her mind.
The unanswered question, one of its kind,
That made me think, 'the love is blind'.
The change in me is noticeable,
That's coming out, on the dining table.
Its not a fairy tale or a fable,
Love is not dormant, its highly unstable.
Finally one day, I gathered some courage.
Dove of my heart, broke out the golden cage.
With my heart, jotted down on a page.
Editing each line, it took me an age.
Sitting next to books, kept in a pile.
She was looking beautiful, bearing a cute smile.
Every love, has its own unique style.
Although uneasy and unexplained, for the one meanwhile.
Checking my way, carefully by throwing stone.
Like a kid, planning for his ice cream cone.
Me, fully hidden to the world and un-shown.
Seeking sometime, to be with her all alone.
And on that day, I walked down to her.
Making my way, through friends, teachers and sirs.
My heart inside the scented cover.
Accompanied with a small bouquet of flowers.
I waved to her, my shivering hand.
And I still waiting, for response from her end.
Guess what?? she waved back, like 'a magic wand'
It felt like, the sea wave kissing the shore sand.
I gave the greetings to her,
And questions on my mind started to stir.
Every second was counting like an hour,
Turning my confidence into my terror.
She, without saying a single word,
Leaving me there, alone and puzzled,
Disturbing and shuffling, my whole world,
Forcing me to proclaim, my steps muddled.
For that week, my sleepless nights went more weird.
I became hopeless, and grew my beard.
My whole life was totally sheared,
Because I was left clueless and uncleared.
My friends sympathized, by giving me hugs.
And my mom thought, I was taking drugs.
I was shut in my room, alone with the bugs.
Where I passed my time, finishing up the coffee mugs.
I was also restless and going insane.
No one knows, I am going through these pains.
No one can cross clean, walking in a lane,
When the whole world goes muddy, whenever it rains.
On the other day, full of sunshine,
I get off from bed, straightening my spine.
I Started my efforts, to make everything fine,
As you know, 'a stitch in time saves nine'.
I managed to jump out of my window,
Landed on a pool not deep, but shallow.
Hiding myself, from my mom's shadow,
And through the valleys, steep and narrow,
There was me, standing in front of her house,
Just like a cat standing against a mouse.
She came out, and everything went for a pause,
What more can my God help me, in my noble cause.
She looked at me for a while,
Each step bringing her closer to me, a mile.
Just like deserts of Egypt, and glorified river Nile,
Every love comes out, in its own fashion and style.
The thing that happened next, was unexpected.
A smiling face of her came near me, and inspected.
The moment and the situation, at the time I respected,
But the question still unanswered: 'accepted or rejected?'
The time's demand was expecting her voice,
Everybody was so calm, no one making a noise.
Its not that I underestimate boys,
But there was nothing on me, but all her choice.
From the sleep of her calmness she woke,
At last something came out, and she spoke.
Folks its very serious, not a matter of joke,
My heartbeat, just like an engine taking big stroke.
She said 'how are you', 'I haven't seen you for days'.
Below the creamy surface, hard turf of the pie lays.
Like this, a girl can kill you in many ways.
This was not my opinion, the whole world says.
I thought, that either she haven't read my letter,
Or she knows everything, but trying to be better.
I tried to analyze, the situation and the matter,
But still nervous, and my hands getting wetter.
Excitement of yours, have increased a lot,
Watching me and my love story, fighting in a plot.
A famous saying: 'hit the iron when its hot'.
So I decided to give the situation, 'my best shot'.
I started my conversation, by offering her a wafer.
Driving myself, slow, steady and safer.
At last my 'car of talk', came in front of a taper,
And finally the words came out, 'have you read that paper'.
Volcanoes erupted, and everybody drowned in the flood.
She dropped the wafer, right there in her garden's mud.
Instead of picking a flower, I picked out a bud,
And without thinking twice, I declared myself a foolish stud.
Her face changed colours, and mine too,
My intuition shouting, my face and her shoe.
I sat over there, but she stood and grew,
I headed down, and my last words was: 'pheww...'
I was firm and steady, but empty like barren lands.
I stood there with her, with my trembling stands.
She remained silent there, setting her hair bands,
And suddenly, my hands reached her hands.
I've never done such thing, but thanks to that time,
I confessed before her, as if I've done a serious crime.
It sounds musical, and my word seems to rhyme,
But actually it was like, 'wounds sprinkled with lime'.
After I finished my words, she turned to me.
What was on her my mind, I was again trying to see,
But her silence, was like the calmness of the sea,
I thought it was over, and its my time to pay the fee.
She said: 'I've waited for this, for week, months and years',
And her eyes became wet, and cheeks full of tears.
Like me, her heart felt the same pain of spears,
Losing ones' beloved, is what everyone fears.
It was not only me, who had gone through the pain,
It was her heart also, gone through stress and strain.
Its love for the earth, that makes the sky rain,
Only hearts can understand this, but not the mighty brain.
My love for her, made me to lift my arms,
Me ready to hold her, and give her the magic charm.
In front of her house, and in the middle of lush green farm,
Nobody to bother us, and no sound of cars and tram.
She comforted herself, in my arms, like bird in its nest.
That moment of my life, was priceless and the best.
We spent a long time, watching sunset in the west.
Love is a very risky, but interesting and unexplained quest.
That day, was the best day of my life,
Of course I married her, and now she is my wife,
We don't fight, with pillow or with knife.
Love and only love, tied us rest of our life.
This was all about me.
Don't afraid in love, no matter what the result be.
Because love sometimes, needs time, just like a tree.
And sometimes, just like a bird, you have to set it free.
Love don't bound, the qualities possessed by you,
It brings about changes, good, strange and new.
The aroma, the passion and sincerity you brew,
That endures the quality like the captain of the crew.
Remember my words, forget it not,
I had told you, everything I got.
Live fullest of you, that you have got,
Learn from the experiences, they teach you a lot.....
